Residents of Nizhny Novgorod will be able to ride in taxis on the new Volga C50.
The business-class sedan Volga C50 will appear in taxis in nine cities of Russia, including Nizhny Novgorod. Passengers will be able to ride in the new car of the "revived" brand at the Business rate of Yandex Go, the automotive company’s press service reported.
The car features a modern 2-liter gasoline engine with turbocharging and direct injection in two power options: 150 hp and 200 hp. The engine is paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission (7DCT). All VOLGA models come with a warranty of 5 years or 150,000 km of mileage.
The "Volgas" will operate in taxis in nine cities of Russia — in Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan, Krasnodar, Rostov-on-Don, Chelyabinsk, Novosibirsk, Perm, Yekaterinburg, and Krasnoyarsk.
Let us remind you that sales of cars from the "revived" brand started on June 19, 2026. The company has opened about 25-30 dealer centers across the country, including in Nizhny Novgorod. Available for purchase are the Volga K40 crossover (analogous to Geely Atlas), the Volga C50 business sedan (analogous to Geely Preface), and the flagship Volga K50 crossover (analogous to Geely Monjaro). Each of the three models of the brand is available in three configurations and five body color options.
