A 19-year-old student from Nizhny Novgorod mysteriously disappeared in Thailand. Her family suspects that the girl fell into slavery, as she took all her savings before disappearing and wrote to her relatives that she was fine and did not need to be searched for.
According to the Telegram channel Mash, a girl named Anya was studying to be a surveyor at a university in Nizhny Novgorod. She had a good relationship with her family, especially with her brother, and she was also a good student.
The student suddenly disappeared in mid-May. She got in touch a few days after her disappearance to write to her mother that everything was fine, she had gone after her dream, and not to look for her. But her relatives searched for her. They managed to find out that on May 19 she flew to China and on the 21st went to Thailand. On August 9, the police of the small town of Mae Sai on the border with Myanmar found the emaciated 19-year-old Russian girl. According to various reports, she became a victim of scammers who forced her to work in a scam center. The girl was regularly beaten. At some point, she had the opportunity to escape, and she took it immediately. But, as it turned out, these are different girls. Anya is still missing.
