A new way to pay for parking has emerged in Nizhny Novgorod.

      On August 10, 2026, at 14:02 Society, Nizhny Novgorod motorists have a new way to pay for city parking. Now it can be done through the "Yandex Go" and "Refueling" apps, the company's press service reported.

      The new feature works in 15 cities in Russia, including Nizhny Novgorod. Thanks to this, drivers will not have to look for a parking meter or install a separate app for parking payment.

      Payment is available in the "Parking" section. In the "Refueling" app, it is located on the main page, while in "Yandex Go" it is within the "Refueling" service.

      Parking zones on the map are highlighted in different colors depending on the cost. The driver immediately sees the price, chooses a suitable spot, and specifies the vehicle's license plate number and the duration of parking.

      Parking can be paid for with a card that is already linked to the app. If necessary, the parking time can be extended, and if the trip ended earlier, the parking can be terminated early.

      It should be noted that the usual payment methods remain available. In Nizhny Novgorod, parking can be paid through the RuParking app, the website parkovkinn.ru, chatbots in MAX and "VKontakte," as well as through parking meters. Payment is allowed within 15 minutes from the moment of entry.
