      On August 10, 2026, at 16:00, the Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Gleb Nikitin, expressed condolences to the families of those who died as a result of a drone attack in Nizhnekamsk. He sent a telegram to the head of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov. The head of the Nizhny Novgorod Region noted that the region mourns together with Tatarstan and shares the pain of loss. Nikitin also stated the need to unite in the face of danger and protect civilians from attacks.

      "On behalf of all Nizhny Novgorod residents and personally, I express my deepest condolences to the relatives of the deceased and sincere support to those who suffered in these tragic circumstances," added Gleb Nikitin.

      It is worth noting that last night Tatarstan experienced a mass attack by Ukrainian drones. The main blow fell on Nizhnekamsk.
