Residents of Vorsma complain about their health after the treatment of the field of the Pavlovsk poultry farm.

On August 5, 2026, at 15:29, Incidents: Contractor agrodrones processed a field belonging to the Pavlovsk poultry farm near residential houses in Vorsma. Residents reported that after the work was carried out, they noticed damage to plants in their gardens, and some experienced a scratchy throat. They shared this in the program "By the Way" (16+).

"At first, small dots appeared on the leaves, and by the end of the day, there were holes; they began to dry out and fall off," said one local resident.

According to eyewitnesses, the drones flew close to the houses, and residents were not warned in advance about the processing. It is believed that the consequences could have affected at least ten streets. Some residents claimed they lost their harvest.

Residents reported that the field is located about 50 meters from the residential houses. They noted that when using pesticides with agrodrones, sanitary requirements regarding the distance to populated areas apply, and they asked for verification of whether these norms were followed.

Some residents reported that their children had eaten vegetables from the gardens before it became known that processing was taking place. After contacting emergency services, one woman was advised not to consume root vegetables for 20 days.

At a meeting with residents, representatives of the agricultural holding "Russian Field" stated that a dicamba-based preparation was used. According to the holding's press secretary, the preparation belongs to the third class of hazard, and the substance "is not toxic in itself." Residents, in turn, stated that they studied information about dicamba-based preparations and found that some of them may belong to the second class of hazard.

Some residents sought medical attention. One woman reported that after the work was done, she felt a scratchy throat, after which she was prescribed antihistamines.

Residents also demanded to provide documents indicating the preparation used, its concentration, and the grounds for carrying out work near residential buildings.

Earlier, it was reported that residents of Gorodets complained about a sharp chemical smell after the launch of a plywood production facility.
