Gleb Nikitin checked the repairs of schools and the Central District Hospital in the Diveevo district.

      On July 20, 2026, at 17:23, Society The Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Gleb Nikitin, visited the Diveevo District on a working trip. During the visit, the regional head toured the central district hospital and checked on the preparations of the schools being built and renovated for the new academic year. Nikitin was accompanied by the head of the regional health ministry, Galina Mikhailova, and the head of the district, Sergey Kuchin, as reported by the regional government press service.

      The chief physician of the Diveevo Central District Hospital named after N.N. Blokhin, Vyacheslav Surusin, reported that the institution includes a hospital with 168 beds and a polyclinic with a capacity of 513 visits per shift. The hospital provides services in 28 medical specialties.

      In recent years, about 110 million rubles have been allocated for the modernization of the Central District Hospital as part of the primary healthcare modernization program of the national project "Healthcare." With these funds, the registration area with a medical records storage, the children's consultation, the second floor of the polyclinic, the first floor of the main building, the dental department, the operating room, the diagnostic laboratory, the day hospital, the maternity ward, and other premises were completely renovated. The building's electrical wiring was also replaced.

      Additionally, three paramedic-midwifery stations were built in the district, and another 13 were renovated. The medical institution received modern equipment, including endoscopic and radiological equipment, as well as 24 new vehicles, including four ambulances.

      The renovation of the Diveevo Central District Hospital is planned to be completed in 2027. Upcoming plans also include the construction of an emergency department and a reception area, which will be connected to the main building by an overpass. Funding for the project is provided under the development program for the "Arzamas - Diveevo - Sarov" cluster.

      The governor also visited the Diveevo Secondary School, designed for more than 800 students. Currently, major renovations are underway there. In the first wing, work is 90% complete: windows, heating, water supply, and sewage systems have been replaced, and internal work has been carried out. Renovation in the second wing began in the summer. The contractor is replacing windows, floors, and updating the building's facade.

      Another site of the visit was the Elizaryevskaya Primary School, which is also undergoing major renovations. Due to the age of the building, a decision was made to carry out comprehensive modernization. The school is replacing the roof, floors, windows, and engineering communications. The institution's territory is also being updated: one of the buildings was demolished, and a new gym is being built in its place; additionally, a new boiler house has already been installed.

      The work in the schools is being carried out as part of the national project "Youth and Children," initiated by the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin. Over the past five years, more than 330 schools have been renovated and 30 new ones built in the Nizhny Novgorod region under this national project.

      Gleb Nikitin noted that schools are important facilities for small settlements, so all work must be completed with high quality and within the established deadlines.
