The fuel crisis has intensified interest in electric vehicles in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

According to their data, the average cost of hybrid and electric vehicles has risen from 1,390,000 to 1,710,000 rubles. The increase was 23%. Migtorg's General Director Alexander Korotkov believes that the heightened interest in such transport is temporary. He recommended that owners of gasoline-powered cars not rush to sell in light of the current situation. Nizhny Novgorod automotive expert Alexander Deich also noted the rising costs of installing gas cylinder equipment. According to him, prices for GBO have significantly increased, and such a solution no longer justifies its cost. It was previously reported that 13 more fast electric charging stations are planned to be installed in the Nizhny Novgorod region. Currently, there are 126 of them.
