A new auto pavilion will be installed at the Sosnovskaya Central District Hospital.

      A new bus pavilion will be installed near the Sosnovskaya Central District Hospital as part of the national project "Infrastructure for Life." It will appear at the turnaround area on Ostrovsky Street, which will also be completely redesigned, the Regional Main Directorate of Roads reported.

      The work is being carried out as part of the capital repair of the Sosnovskoe - Glyadkovo road section, which is 4.4 km long. To date, the contractor has milled the old surface over an area of 27,000 square meters, treated the surface with bitumen emulsion, and has begun to create a leveling layer of gravel-sand mixture. After this, the top layer of asphalt concrete will be laid.

      To enhance road safety in the area, two speed bumps will be installed, and the shoulders will be reinforced with gravel. In the final stage, road markings will be applied: center and edge lines totaling more than 12 km will be made with thermoplastic and paint, and pedestrian crossings will also be marked. All work is planned to be completed during the summer.

      As noted by the acting director of the State Budgetary Institution "GUAD" Alexander Denisov, the repair is part of the efforts to bring the roads connecting district centers with remote settlements into compliance.

      "Our task is to make these routes comfortable and safe," he emphasized, adding that the renewal of the surface and shoulders will increase the road's capacity and reduce wear on the chassis of public and private transport.

      Since 2019, thanks to the national project "Infrastructure for Life" (until 2025 - "Safe and Quality Roads"), nearly 130 km of roads have been repaired in the Sosnovsky District. This accounts for about 70% of the total length of the district's road network.
