About 100 people are involved in the project on 40 Years of Victory Street in the Prioksky district, working in two shifts. This was reported by the city head, Yuri Shalabaev. According to the mayor, this is already the sixth building erected by the municipality in the past three years and the third to be completed in less than a year. In winter, new residents celebrated in the buildings on Sadovaya and Zaitseva Streets, where Nizhny Novgorod residents also moved from uninhabitable houses. "The total area of the building is more than 16,600 square meters, it has variable floors — there are 10-11 floors and 261 apartments — from one-bedroom to four-bedroom. The builders are finishing the finishing work, and the new apartments will be ready for residents to move in with repairs already done. As always, the focus is on light, calm colors inside and bright accents outside. A children's playground with sports elements is being set up next to the building, where kids from neighboring yards will be able to come," said Yuri Shalabaev. The city head specifically emphasized that he is looking forward to the quick relocation of future residents and will definitely stop by to see how they are doing. It is worth noting that in the winter of 2025-2026, Nizhny Novgorod residents from the Sormovsky, Moskovsky, and other districts of Nizhny Novgorod, whose houses were recognized as emergency, moved into the new buildings on Zaitseva and Sadovaya Streets.
