The construction of a house for resettlers in the Priokskiy district is nearing completion.

      On July 14, 2026, at 17:27, Society In the Priokskiy district of Nizhny Novgorod, the construction of the largest building erected by the municipality for the resettlement of emergency housing is nearing completion. This was reported by the city head, Yuri Shalabaev. The facility is located on 40 Years of Victory Street. The building has a total area of over 16,600 square meters and has a variable number of floors - from 10 to 11 floors. It includes 261 apartments - from one-bedroom to four-bedroom units.

      Currently, about 100 people are working on the construction site in two shifts. This building has become the sixth constructed by the administration in the last three years and the third that is planned to be completed in less than a year.

      "The builders are finishing the finishing work; new residents will move into the apartments already renovated. As always, the emphasis is on light, calm colors inside and bright accents outside," noted Yuri Shalabaev.

      The mayor added that a children's playground with sports elements is being set up next to the building, where kids from neighboring yards will be able to come.

      Yuri Shalabaev also noted that this building has become the sixth constructed by the municipality in the last three years and the third that is planned to be completed in less than a year. In winter, new residents received apartments in buildings on Sadovaya and Zaytseva streets. It is worth noting that earlier, the prosecutor's office of Nizhny Novgorod identified violations during the construction of the building on 40 Years of Victory Street. The agency established that the contractor had failed to meet the deadlines for contract execution. Additionally, in 2026, the city hall plans to resettle 25 emergency houses.
