      July 9, 2026 14:58 Incidents The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, instructed to report on the investigation following the attack on a paramedic in Nizhny Novgorod. This was reported by the information center of the agency. The incident occurred on the afternoon of July 4 on Pushkin Street. According to preliminary data, a man in a state of intoxication struck the paramedic of the ambulance team that arrived to assist him. The victim has been diagnosed with an injury. A procedural check has been organized by the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Nizhny Novgorod region regarding this fact. Alexander Bastrykin instructed the head of the regional department, Ayrat Akhmetshin, to report on the interim results of the investigation and the decision made based on its outcomes. The execution of the instruction has been put under control in the central office of the agency.
