The bus routes will change due to work on Kazan Highway on July 11-12.

      On July 9, 2026, at 15:45, the Society will temporarily restrict traffic on the section of Kazan Highway between houses No. 4A and No. 5 from 00:00 on July 11 to 18:00 on July 12 in Nizhny Novgorod. The restrictions are related to the repair and restoration work on engineering networks, the city administration reported. Drivers will be able to bypass the work area using adjacent streets. During the repair, public transport routes will change. Buses No. 24, 40, 45, 78, 83, 150, and 171 traveling from Verkhne-Pecherskaya Street towards Rodionova Street will operate along Brinskogo Street in both directions.

      Buses No. 90, 104, 130, 173, and 225 traveling from Kazan Highway towards Rodionova Street will be redirected along German Lopatina, Verkhne-Pecherskaya, and Brinskogo Streets in both directions. Buses No. 18, 47, 61, 72, 94, as well as the electric bus route E-6 will follow Verkhne-Pecherskaya Street from Brinskogo Street to Composer Kasyanov Street in both directions. On all modified routes, passenger boarding and alighting will take place at existing stops along the way. Drivers are advised to familiarize themselves with the traffic scheme in advance, be attentive, and comply with road signs.

      It was previously reported that several streets will be closed in Nizhny Novgorod due to VK Fest. The restrictions will be in effect from 00:01 on July 9 to 10:00 on July 12.
