An unknown assailant attacked a paramedic in Nizhny Novgorod.

      On July 7, 2026, at 18:04, Incidents: On the afternoon of July 4, an unknown assailant attacked a 27-year-old paramedic from the GBUZ Nizhny Novgorod "SSMPNN." This was reported by the State Labor Inspectorate of the region. The victim was taken to a medical facility, where she was diagnosed with a soft tissue bruise on her face. The State Labor Inspectorate has begun an investigation following the attack. The agency is establishing the circumstances and reasons for the incident. A medical report on the severity of the injuries sustained is also expected, along with a notification of the accident at work. It is worth noting that in May, emergency medical workers in Nizhny Novgorod were attacked during a home call. A patient struck a paramedic in the face with her head, while a young man bit a paramedic on the ear. Later, the chairman of the Healthcare Workers Union of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Vasily Prikaznov, commented on the situation.
