      On July 7, 2026, at 17:55, the Economy Administration of the Bor Municipal District in the Nizhny Novgorod Region intends to transfer water supply and sewage facilities into concession. Information about this has been posted on the trading website.

      This concerns 177 facilities that are part of centralized cold water supply and sewage systems. All of them are municipal property. The term of the future agreement is from September 1, 2026, to December 31, 2050.

      The total length of municipal cold water supply networks is 357.6 km, and sewage networks is 275 km. The system includes 14 water intake facilities, 60 sewage pumping stations, and 9 treatment facilities.

      During the concession period, the investor must invest up to 2.99 billion rubles in the reconstruction and modernization of the facilities. The funds will be directed towards increasing the reliability and energy efficiency of the systems, reconstructing water intakes, pumping stations, and treatment facilities, updating networks, implementing automated accounting and dispatch systems, as well as purchasing special equipment and laboratory equipment.

      In particular, the reconstruction of at least 70 km of water supply networks and at least 56 km of sewage networks using modern materials is planned.

      The main goal of the concession is to improve the quality and reliability of services, ensure the availability of water supply and sewage for consumers, and enhance the environmental safety of the facilities' operations.

      The documentation notes that the initiative to conclude the concession was proposed by LLC "Regional United Water Supply and Sewage Systems of the Nizhny Novgorod Region" (LLC "Water of Nizhny Novgorod"). The administration, by resolution No. 3961 dated June 29, 2026, recognized the possibility of concluding an agreement with this company, noting that it meets the requirements of the federal law "On Concession Agreements."

      At the same time, other interested parties may also express their readiness to participate in the competition. Applications are accepted until August 5. The results are planned to be announced on August 7.
