Two sidewalks were repaired in Bolshoye Boldino under the initiative budgeting projects.

      On July 6, 2026, at 16:41 Society Two sidewalks were repaired in Bolshoy Boldin at the initiative of residents. The pedestrian path connecting the village center with the Vostochny microdistrict was put in order as part of the governor's project "It's Your Decision!". The major repair of the sidewalk on Shkolnaya Street was made possible by the participation of residents in the state program "Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment" of the national project "Infrastructure for Life". The total funding for the "It's Your Decision!" project amounted to over 2.8 million rubles, including funds from the regional and local budgets, as well as 30,000 rubles contributed by the residents themselves. As a result, 242 meters of asphalt pavement were renewed. The contractor completed the work within two months. "Together, we have done a great and useful thing! And to make the sidewalk area more landscaped and beautiful, we decided to plant flowers here," said Alla Morozova, head of the local government of the Bolshoboldinsky municipal district. Alla Morozova presented the initiative group of residents with rose seedlings and also planted the first shrub herself, laying the foundation for a beautiful flowerbed that transitions into an alley along the sidewalk. The total funding for the project amounts to over 3.1 million rubles, of which more than 1.3 million rubles were allocated from the prize fund of the Bolshoboldinsky municipal district following the results of the competition for "Best Municipal Formation in Nizhny Novgorod Region in the Field of Landscaping and Road Activities". "The new sidewalk is designed to solve the main task — the safety of our children. Finally, they can move to and from school safely and calmly. The structure of the sidewalk allows two oncoming pedestrians with strollers to pass each other without hindrance. Walk with pleasure, take care of what has been created for you, and pass it on to your children: this road is yours! May every step on the new asphalt bring you only positive emotions!" noted Alla Morozova. The national project "Infrastructure for Life" was initiated by the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin.
