Nizhny Novgorod residents were paid more than 98 million rubles in delayed wages.

      On July 6, 2026, at 16:47, Society Labor Rights: The labor rights of 750 employees from six organizations were restored in June 2026 in the Nizhny Novgorod region. The total amount of payments made exceeded 98 million rubles. This was reported by the press service of the State Labor Inspection in the region.

      It is specified that measures of inspector response were applied to employers who had wage arrears. The specified amount included payments made with violations of established deadlines.

      The main part of the debt was settled as a result of preventive work. The chief state labor inspector in the Nizhny Novgorod region, Ilya Moshes, emphasized that the protection of citizens' labor rights remains a priority direction of the supervisory agency's activities.

      Employers must understand their responsibility to employees and pay wages on time. We will continue to improve the system of prevention and response to such violations, the expert stated.
