Mikhail Mishustin highlighted Nizhny Novgorod enterprises at "Innoprom-2026".

      On July 6, 2026, at 17:32, during a plenary session at the "Innoprom-2026" exhibition (18+) in Yekaterinburg, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin cited the Nizhny Novgorod region as an example of a region actively developing its own technologies and production. According to him, the M. Gorky Medical Instrument Plant has started processing special stainless steel for medical instruments.

      "A significant boost has also been received by another basic, crucial industry for all our countries and, of course, for Russia—machine engineering. In Nizhny Novgorod, they have implemented the corresponding integrated technology for producing special stainless steel and specific alloys for the needs of surgery and dentistry. And there are many such examples across the country," Mishustin added.

      The Prime Minister also drew attention to the company "RusSilica" located in the "Kulibin" special economic zone in Dzerzhinsk, which produces silica gels and silica sols. These materials are in demand in pharmaceuticals, oil extraction, and other industries. As noted by the Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Yegor Polyakov, the Nizhny Novgorod delegation participating in the exhibition plans to sign an agreement in the field of robotics, support regional participants of the all-Russian "Young Industrialist" award, familiarize themselves with the results of the ranking of the development of unmanned aerial systems in the subjects of the Russian Federation, as well as conduct a series of negotiations with potential partners and investors.
