During this period, the price of AI-92 gasoline rose the most—by 3.1%: from 66.44 to 68.52 rubles. The average price of AI-95 increased by almost 2%. Instead of 72.21 rubles per liter, one now has to pay 73.62 rubles. The cost of AI-98 and above increased less significantly—by about 0.4%. Now a liter is sold not for 94.27 rubles, but for 94.62 rubles. Diesel fuel prices in the region rose by approximately 1.2%: from 79.13 to 80.11 rubles. Overall, over the week, the price of gasoline in the Nizhny Novgorod region increased by 2.4%, reaching an average of 71.98 rubles per liter, while across Russia it rose by 3%. In turn, diesel fuel became more expensive by 2.7%. According to Rosstat, from June 23 to June 29, the change in prices for automotive gasoline affected 82 regions of the country. Recall that during the week from June 15 to June 22, gasoline in the Nizhny Novgorod region rose by more than two rubles. According to regional authorities, inflated prices are mainly found at private gas stations, in small networks, and with franchising operators. The prices for fuel at federal networks remain stable. At independent gas stations, fuel is often either unavailable or sold at prices 15-40% higher than those of network operators. However, such gas stations are not in demand. Governor Gleb Nikitin reported that the region is sufficiently supplied with gasoline and diesel fuel and urged residents to refuel only when absolutely necessary.
