The Investigative Committee will investigate the deadly drone attack in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      On July 2, 2026, at 16:11, Incidents: Investigators from the Investigative Committee of Russia will investigate the drone attack in the Nizhny Novgorod region. This was reported by the press service of the agency. Investigators will establish all the circumstances of the incident, as well as the individuals involved in the commission of the crimes.

      Recall that on the night of July 2, as a result of the attack by enemy UAVs, one person was killed, and four others were injured. A total of 30 aircraft were destroyed over the territory of the region. After the debris fell, non-critical damage was recorded at one industrial facility and several residential buildings.
