The accident occurred on June 30, 2026, at 7:45 on the 47th kilometer of the Nizhny Novgorod - Shakhunya - Kirov highway. According to preliminary data, the driver of the "Gazelle" vehicle was traveling from Nizhny Novgorod towards Kirov. While turning from the main road to a secondary road, he was hit by a "Peugeot" that failed to maintain a safe distance. As a result of the impact, both vehicles were thrown into a stationary truck. The accident injured the 64-year-old driver of the "Gazelle," as well as three of his female passengers aged 45, 49, and 60. The circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
