A man died after his clothing caught fire in Nizhny Novgorod.

      June 29, 2026 09:01 Incidents On June 28, clothing caught fire on a man on Lebedev Street in the Priokskiy District. This was reported by the regional office of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia. According to the agency, firefighters who arrived at the scene found the victim with severe burns. By the time they arrived, the fire had already been extinguished by witnesses. The man was taken to a burn center, but he could not be saved - he died. An investigation is underway regarding the incident. It was previously reported that a fire in a bathhouse claimed the life of a 75-year-old man in the village of Tumbotino.
