The FAS has intensified control over the sale of fuel to agricultural producers in the Volga Federal District.

      On June 23, 2026, at 10:44 AM, the Federal Antimonopoly Service instructed 16 territorial offices to strengthen control over the sale of fuel to agricultural producers. This concerns the regions of the Volga, Ural, Siberian, and Northwestern federal districts. The antimonopoly authorities must monitor compliance with antimonopoly legislation in the wholesale fuel segment. The control will also extend to supplies from oil depots, oil storage facilities, and gas stations. Special attention has been ordered to ensure fuel supply to farmers during the seasonal fieldwork period. In case of identifying signs of violations, territorial bodies are recommended to promptly take antimonopoly response measures. Additionally, antimonopoly services, together with regional authorities, must compile a list of agricultural enterprises and determine the fuel consumption volumes for each of them. Earlier, the FAS began interacting with digital platforms to limit speculative resale of gasoline.
