The Federal Antimonopoly Service instructed to strengthen control over fuel for farmers in the Volga region.

The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has instructed to strengthen control over fuel for agricultural producers in the Volga region. According to the Federal Antimonopoly Service, instructions have been sent to the regional offices of the Volga Federal District to enhance control over the sale of fuel for agricultural producers. In particular, the compliance with antimonopoly legislation during the sale of fuel in the small wholesale segment is under control, including from oil depots and storage facilities, as well as from gas stations (GS). Special attention should be paid by the regional FAS to the sale of fuel to agricultural producers during seasonal fieldwork.

In case of identifying signs of violations, the service recommends its territorial bodies to promptly take antimonopoly response measures.

As part of the instruction, antimonopoly authorities, together with regional authorities, need to compile a list of agricultural enterprises with an assessment of their fuel consumption volume.
