The FAS has intensified control over fuel sales to farmers in the Volga Federal District.
June 23, 2026 10:44 Economy The Federal Antimonopoly Service has instructed 16 territorial offices to strengthen control over the sale of fuel to agricultural producers. This concerns the regions of the Volga, Ural, Siberian, and Northwestern federal districts. The FAS must monitor compliance with antimonopoly legislation in the wholesale fuel segment. The control will also extend to supplies from oil depots, oil storage facilities, and gas stations. Special attention has been instructed to ensure fuel supply for farmers during the seasonal fieldwork period. In case of signs of violations, territorial bodies are recommended to promptly take antimonopoly response measures. Additionally, antimonopoly services, together with regional authorities, must compile a list of agricultural enterprises and determine the fuel consumption volumes for each of them. Earlier, the FAS began interacting with digital platforms to limit speculative resale of gasoline. For instance, "Avito" removes ads for fuel resale, while on marketplaces Ozon and Wildberries, such offers are blocked at the moderation stage. NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" has channels on Telegram and MAX.
