The decision was made by the Russian government as part of additional funding for the construction of university campuses. A total of about 31.5 billion rubles will be allocated to the regions of the country. This was reported by Governor Gleb Nikitin on his Telegram channel. The allocation of funds was announced by the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Mishustin, at a meeting with his deputies. According to him, the Republic of Bashkortostan, Nizhny Novgorod, Sakhalin, and Chelyabinsk regions will receive nearly 14 billion rubles as early as 2026, and more than 17.5 billion rubles will be allocated over the next two years. As emphasized by Mikhail Mishustin, the additional funding will allow for the completion of the construction of campuses in Nizhny Novgorod, Ufa, Chelyabinsk, and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk on schedule and to put the facilities into operation on time. The implementation of the projects has been entrusted to Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko. Governor Gleb Nikitin thanked the federal government for its support, noting that "NEIMARK" is one of the most important projects for the Nizhny Novgorod region. According to him, it is here that the digital face of the future will be formed and a new generation of specialists for high-tech industries will be prepared. The future campus will become a modern multifunctional space. Its territory will include a technopark, co-living, an educational campus, and public spaces. The technopark includes resident offices, laboratories, and production facilities, co-working spaces, a digital library, and a congress hall. Here, projects will be able to receive all the necessary infrastructure and competencies.
