The Nizhny Novgorod TV tower will light up in memory and sorrow on the Day of Remembrance.

      On June 22, 2026, at 5:40 PM, Society On the Day of Remembrance and Sorrow, June 22, the architectural and artistic lighting will be turned on at the television tower in Nizhny Novgorod. The illumination will be provided by the RTRS branch "Nizhny Novgorod Regional Radio and Television Transmitting Center." The lighting will start working at 9:30 PM. The edges of the television tower will be painted in orange-red shades, symbolizing the flame of the Eternal Flame. A dynamic image of a burning candle will be displayed on the media facade. It will be replaced by the inscription "June 22 - Day of Remembrance and Sorrow." It was previously reported that Gleb Nikitin laid flowers at the Eternal Flame in the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin.
