An Egyptian was expelled from the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      On June 23, 2026, at 14:45, incidents occurred when bailiffs escorted an Egyptian citizen to the state border and expelled him from Russia. The man violated the requirements of migration legislation, as reported by the Federal Bailiff Service for the Nizhny Novgorod region. The Egyptian was held accountable under Article 18.8 of the Administrative Offenses Code of the Russian Federation for failing to comply with the rules of entry into Russia or the regime of stay in the country. The violation was identified by employees of the Migration Department of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod region, after which an administrative protocol was drawn up against the foreigner. The court imposed a fine of two thousand rubles, followed by administrative expulsion beyond the borders of the Russian Federation. Before the court decision came into legal force, the man was held in the Center for Temporary Detention of Foreign Citizens of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Nizhny Novgorod region. Then, bailiffs ensuring the established order of court activities escorted him to the checkpoint at the state border, from where he left the country. The agency clarified that in the last three weeks, 125 foreign citizens have been expelled from the Nizhny Novgorod region. Among them are individuals from Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Turkmenistan. According to the legislation, violators of the migration regime will be able to re-enter Russia no earlier than five years.
