The AI assistant has started conducting express diagnostics at the Nizhny Novgorod hospital.

      On June 23, 2026, at 13:38, Society In Nizhny Novgorod, the first medical AI assistant for quick health assessments has been launched. The device is installed at the Nizhny Novgorod Center for the Fight Against AIDS, reported the chief editor of MIA "Stationary Press," Alexey Nikonov.

      Anyone interested can undergo express diagnostics. The procedure takes about 15 seconds and is conducted free of charge.

      Sber's multimodal medical assistant GigaDoc analyzes 17 key indicators. These include body mass index, blood pressure, cholesterol levels, and glycated hemoglobin, as well as the risk of developing type II diabetes. The operation of the complex is based on computer vision technologies and remote photoplethysmography.

      The chief physician of the Nizhny Novgorod Center for the Fight Against AIDS, Solomon Apoyan, emphasized that the device does not replace a specialist's consultation and does not make a diagnosis.

      The assistant merely helps the patient come to the appointment better prepared, and allows the doctor to focus more quickly on the clinical picture. At the same time, the device is freely accessible to all interested parties.

      Nikonov noted that the AI result exactly matched his examinations at the Health Center.
