The landscape park "Russia in Miniature" will open in Bor on June 25.

      On June 19, 2026, at 11:39 Culture and Recreation, the landscape park "Russia in Miniature" will open in Bor on June 25. On an area of 1.5 hectares near the Nizhny Novgorod cable car station, miniature copies of famous architectural landmarks of the country have been placed.

      As reported by NIA "Nizhny Novgorod," the organizers stated that the exhibition includes 88 objects of the historical and cultural heritage of Russia, made to a scale of 1:50. Among them are the Moscow Kremlin, Swallow's Nest, Massandra Palace in Crimea, as well as the Aniva Lighthouse on Sakhalin and the Nizhny Novgorod Olympic Reserve School named after V.S. Tishin. Visitors will be able to see architectural monuments from different regions of the country in one place, which can be reached by cable car across the Volga from Nizhny Novgorod.

      According to the project author Viktor Zhilенко, during the tour, guests will be able to get acquainted with more than 80 attractions of Russia in just one hour. The organizers call the exhibition the largest exhibition of architectural miniatures in the history of Russia. A team of 60 specialists worked on the creation of the park for five years. All models are made of architectural plastic and feature a high degree of detail. It is noted that the detailing is so precise that on some objects, one can read the signs on the doors of the buildings.

      According to Viktor Zhilensko, the project is not only tourist-oriented but also educational. The excursion program introduces visitors to the history, culture, and architectural heritage of various regions of the country.

      "And miniatures are also a hint for future travels: you will immediately understand where to go first to see the architectural object you like the most," Zhilensko added.
