Two waste reception stations will appear in Nizhny Novgorod by October 2026.

      On June 17, 2026, at 11:19 AM, Society The construction of two stations for receiving liquid household waste in Nizhny Novgorod will be completed by the end of the third quarter of 2026. This was reported by the press service of the city administration to NIA "Nizhny Novgorod." One station will be located near house No. 6 V on Metallistov Street in the Kanavinsky district, and the second will be in the area of house No. 339A on Yasnaya Street in Sormovo. The construction projects passed examination last autumn. JSC "OKO" has already completed the necessary preparations for the installation and connection of the drainage stations to the technological communications of the resource supplying organization. The responsibility for financing the project lies entirely with the investor, without attracting funds from the city budget and JSC "OKO." The total cost of constructing the liquid household waste reception stations is still unknown, as the construction is not yet completed.

      The administration, together with JSC "OKO" and the investor, has worked on the construction of 12 liquid household waste reception points throughout the city. In the future, there are plans to expand the network of points to be located in all districts of Nizhny Novgorod, the city administration's press service clarified.
