Alexander Solovyov headed the Ministry of Economic Development of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      June 17, 2026 13:38 Politics Alexander Solovyov has been appointed Minister of Economic Development and Investments of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. This was reported by the regional government. Previously, this position was held by Denis Ismagilov, who transitioned to the role of acting Deputy Chairman of the regional government about a week ago. Solovyov was born in 1991. He graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University with a degree in "Organization Management." From 2013 to 2019, he worked at JSC "Rosagrolizing," where he held various positions. He has been working in the regional Ministry of Economic Development and Investments since 2020: first as Deputy Minister, then as First Deputy. His tasks included the implementation of national projects and coordination of project activities. For his work, Solovyov received letters of appreciation from the government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, a letter of gratitude and a certificate of honor from the Regional Legislative Assembly, as well as a commendation from the Minister of Economic Development of Russia.
