The authorities intend to increase the budget of Nizhny Novgorod by almost 1.8 billion rubles.

      June 17, 2026 14:58 Politics Deputies approved the adjustment of the budget of Nizhny Novgorod at a meeting of the permanent commission on budgetary, financial, and tax policy of the city Duma. The income and expenditure parts are proposed to be increased by 1,775.3 million rubles. This was reported in his MAX channel by the chairman of the city Duma, Evgeny Chintsov. Additional funds are planned to be allocated for the repair of courtyard areas, resettlement of citizens, as well as for the construction of an apartment building on 40 Years of Victory Street. In addition, among the expenses are payments for concession agreements for the construction of schools in the New Kuznechikha residential complex, the village of Ankudinovka, the Dubenki settlement, the third microdistrict of Kstovo, the village of Bolshaya Yelnya, as well as on Cosmic, Ukrainian streets and Gagarin Avenue. The speaker of the municipal parliament also named the main parameters of the budget this year. Taking into account the changes, revenues will reach 80,980.6 million rubles, expenditures will be 84,028.8 million rubles, and the deficit will be 3,048.2 million rubles. In addition, a report on the work of the Administrative and Technical Inspection was presented at the meeting. Over the past year, the ATI identified 28,214 violations of legal acts in the field of landscaping, of which 14,201 were eliminated. For the remaining cases, acts were drawn up to initiate administrative offense cases. The budget of Nizhny Novgorod received 383.5 million rubles. The practice of using special technical means for automatic recording of violations is expanding. The annual result of the use of eight "Dozor M3" complexes is about 41 thousand recorded violations and more than 103 million rubles in revenue to the city budget, clarified Evgeny Chintsov. Also, in the fall of 2025, during two months of test operation of the "Strazh" complex, 84 rulings were issued for the transportation of bulk cargo without a tarp. The total amount was 1.1 million rubles. This year, specialists intend to purchase three more such complexes.
