Defender Sven Karic of Pari Nizhny Novgorod will stay in Nizhny Novgorod for another season.

      Slovenian Sven Karic, defender of "Pary NN", stated in an interview with "RB Sport" that he will remain at the club for the next season despite the relegation from the RPL. The footballer emphasized that he has a valid contract for another year and intends to fulfill its terms. He also spoke about his attitude towards the First League, the atmosphere in the team, and the reasons for the unsuccessful season. According to Karic, he is not afraid of the logistics involved, which include long flights. "It's not my concern," he says. "I just got on the plane and flew." Sven also noted that there was a tense atmosphere in the team under Alexey Shpilevsky due to the lack of victories.

      "The atmosphere was not good because we were not winning many matches. In such moments, it is difficult to maintain a good atmosphere, but we tried our best. Unfortunately, it did not work out," he admitted.

      Karic believes that the team's failures were related to the mentality of the players and the insufficient qualification of the squad. He noted that Shpilevsky tried to bring a new style of play to Russian football, but the team lacked experienced players to successfully implement his ideas. "But it's still better to play this way than to park the bus. Sitting back, doing nothing, and praying to the gods to get points is not football," the defender stated.
