Nizhny Novgorod tankers congratulated their fellow countrymen on Russia Day.

      June 12, 2026 21:35 Society The Governor of Nizhny Novgorod Region, Gleb Nikitin, published a message from tank soldiers on the front line, who congratulated the residents of the region on Russia Day and thanked them for their support. In the video address, the fighters noted that in anticipation of the holiday, a humanitarian convoy was sent to the SVO zone for the military units where Nizhny Novgorod residents serve. The humanitarian cargo included necessary means and equipment for carrying out tasks. The servicemen received a large batch of FPV drones, communication equipment, thermal imaging sights, quadcopters, generators, construction materials, and tools. Volunteers also prepared camouflage nets.

      The delivery of the cargo was handled by the team of the coordination center for supporting servicemen, which operates at the base of the House of National Unity. Since 2022, Nizhny Novgorod Region has sent more than 790 humanitarian convoys at the request of military units. More than 5,200 tons of cargo and over 340 vehicles have been delivered to the servicemen. Thousands of residents of the region are participating in the collection of aid: public organizations, volunteers, concerned Nizhny Novgorod residents, and representatives of "United Russia."

      "I thank each of you for your contribution to our common Victory! We are proud of our heroes! Words of immense gratitude from all Nizhny Novgorod residents, from myself personally. We are together! Happy holiday - Happy Russia Day!" wrote Gleb Nikitin on his MAX channel.
