According to NIA "Nizhny Novgorod," the hearing is scheduled for June 17. Ilya Shtokman was detained in September 2025 in Sochi. He is suspected of receiving a bribe of 55 million rubles. According to the investigation, the money was handed over by the head of a construction company for general protection, the conclusion of contracts with a single contractor, and loyal oversight of project implementation. Investigators believe that the funds may have been transferred to the account of his brother's company - Mikhail Shtokman, the general director of the "Vector" plant. He was detained in December of last year and charged with mediating in bribery on a particularly large scale. The transfers were allegedly made in parts through former city council deputy Karim Ibragimov. He later confessed to his guilt and became a witness in the case. Both brothers were transferred to Moscow during the investigation. It was also reported that the profits from the family business and assets acquired with the bribe funds, totaling 328 million rubles, will be confiscated for the benefit of the state.
