In the Nizhny Novgorod region, the construction of two schools with more than 1000 places has begun.

      On June 10, 2026, 18:45 Society In the Nizhny Novgorod region, the construction of two new schools with a total capacity of 1,050 students has begun. This was reported by the regional Inspection of State Construction Supervision. One educational institution will be built in Volodarsk. It will be designed for 500 places. Another school for 550 students will be constructed in Lyskov. The projects provide for the creation of modern educational infrastructure. The buildings will house cafeterias, medical blocks, assembly halls, and sports halls. Libraries, workshops, museums, and specialized classrooms will be equipped for extracurricular activities. In addition, separate spaces are planned for younger and older students: separate entrance groups and cloakrooms have been designed for them. Both schools are being built as part of the state program "Comprehensive Development of Rural Areas."
