Participants of the events at the House of National Unity voted for the improvement projects under the FCGS.

June 10, 2026 18:04 Society Participants of events taking place at the House of National Unity took part in voting for improvement projects under the program "Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment" (FCGE) of the national project "Infrastructure for Life."

"The 'Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment' program brings everyone together, regardless of age and profession, as improving our cities is important for everyone. We see how people of different generations actively engage in discussions and voting: youth, who need modern places for communication and activity, and the older generation, who propose ideas for creating quiet green areas for walks. To facilitate this, we organized informational events at the House of National Unity so that as many residents as possible could learn about the program and participate in the voting," emphasized the head of the House of National Unity, Sergey Fedorov.

At various events, participants were informed about the FCGE program and the voting process, and with the help of volunteers, those interested were able to vote immediately.

"In our district, several areas have already been transformed under this program. Among them is the favorite alley by the Komsomol member monument, and the improvement around the church is ongoing. This year, we helped our neighbors in the Gorodetsky district with votes. Thus, we are all together improving our cities. This is very important for our younger generation," said the chair of the veterans' council of the Krasnobakovsky municipal district, Nadezhda Pishchaeva, a participant in the XI reporting and election conference of the Nizhny Novgorod regional public organization of veterans of war, labor, armed forces, and law enforcement agencies.

Young participants of the regional marathon of children's engineering projects "Engineers of the Future" also discussed improvement projects with interest alongside volunteers.

"This is my first time participating in this voting; I chose a park in my Priokskiy district. A volunteer helped me, and everything was clear. I found it necessary and want us to have a beautiful and convenient place where we can spend time with friends after school," shared Darina Krasnova, a 9th-grade student from School No. 34 in Nizhny Novgorod.

The head of the support center for children and youth with disabilities "SNAMI" from Arzamas, Marina Zakharova, emphasized the special social significance of the project in creating an accessible environment. She came to the "Along the Roads of Nizhny" festival on Children's Day.

"In our city, significant work is being done to create a barrier-free environment for people with health limitations. The improvement program allows us to make our parks, squares, and yards convenient for everyone. And here, we must not remain passive; we need to vote so that later we cannot complain that something is not being done for us. It is great that our opinion is taken into account," she noted.

Deputy of the Nizhny Novgorod City Duma Stanislav Prokopovich has already voted for a project in his district in the Moskovsky area and urged Nizhny Novgorod residents not to stay on the sidelines.

"By participating in the voting, residents directly influence the allocation of funds for the improvement of their municipalities and yards. This year, we have 93 public spaces in municipalities, including Nizhny Novgorod, to choose from. I urge all Nizhny Novgorod residents to cast their votes by June 12. The winning projects will be designed this year, and next year they will be improved. The success of the program depends on each of us. Don't stay on the sidelines!" said the deputy.

We remind you that the all-Russian online voting for selecting public areas for improvement in 2027 will end on June 12. The projects that receive the most votes will be funded and improved under the "Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment" program of the national project "Infrastructure for Life."

Every resident over the age of 14 can participate in the voting. Nizhny Novgorod residents, as well as residents from all over Russia, can vote and follow the progress of online voting on the unified digital platform: zagorodsreda.gosuslugi.ru.
