At a car wash located on Moscow Highway in Nizhny Novgorod, police identified two citizens from one of the South Asian republics who violated the rules of stay in the Russian Federation. This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod Region. During a check of their residence, law enforcement officers discovered two more foreigners from the same country who also violated migration legislation. During the examination of documents, it was found that three of them were in Russia on expired tourist visas, while the fourth worked at the car wash with a work permit for the specialty "seamstress," issued in another subject of the Russian Federation. Administrative protocols have been drawn up against all violators under various articles of the Administrative Offenses Code of the Russian Federation. Foreigners have been placed in the Temporary Detention Center for Foreign Citizens of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod Region and will leave the country in the near future. The court also imposed fines totaling 24,000 rubles on them. Additionally, an investigation is being conducted regarding the employers who violated migration legislation. Based on its results, a decision will be made on bringing them to administrative or criminal responsibility. Earlier, it was reported that a resident of the Nizhny Novgorod Region was found guilty of illegally employing a foreigner.
