Parking in Nizhny Novgorod will be free on Russia Day.

      On June 9, 2026, at 18:10 Society Open parking lots will be free during the long June weekends dedicated to the celebration of Russia Day. Drivers will also not be fined for stopping in these areas, reports pravda-nn.ru. There will be no charge for parking spaces for three days - on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Additionally, it will be free to leave a car on weekdays from 20:00 to 08:00. Currently, there are 110 paid parking zones operating in the regional center.
