The CRTS explained the delays of night buses in Nizhny Novgorod.

      On June 8, 2026, at 15:53 Society In Nizhny Novgorod, the first results of the launch of night bus routes No. 150, 160, 180, and 190 were summarized. As reported by the Transport Systems Development Center, monitoring of the routes was conducted on weekends. It showed that passenger traffic is increasing, including due to arrivals by the "Burevestnik" train. For instance, on July 7, 15 people transferred from the train to bus route No. 180. At the same time, problems with adherence to the schedule were identified. Due to regular traffic jams on the Nizhnevolzhskaya Embankment, buses do not always arrive at control points on time in the evening. In this regard, it is planned to adjust the schedule of certain routes. Additional delays also occur due to cars parked at stops. The CRTS also reminded that at night, buses stop only on demand. For the transport to make a stop, passengers need to signal the driver in advance. In the absence of such a signal, the bus may pass by. Inspectors also recorded cases of fare evasion. Passengers were reminded that payment is mandatory even on night routes. The fine is 1000 rubles. The CRTS added that monitoring of public transport operations during nighttime hours will continue. It was previously reported that night buses would operate in Nizhny Novgorod from June 1 to September 30 — from 22:00 to 02:00.
