The first owner of the K50 crossover model was the governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Gleb Nikitin. It is reported by pravda-nn.ru whether the regional authorities plan to replenish the vehicle fleet with domestic cars. Representatives of the administration of Nizhny Novgorod stated that the acquisition of new cars for business trips is not currently being considered. Recently, the city hall purchased several domestic passenger cars to replace foreign cars that had reached the end of their service life. In turn, the government of the Nizhny Novgorod region plans to acquire several vehicles for the fleet, such as the flagship crossover Volga K50 and the business sedan Volga C50. The State Budgetary Institution of the Nizhny Novgorod Region "Automobile Base of the Government Administration" will manage these vehicles, but the exact number to be purchased is still unknown.
