Nizhny Novgorod newlyweds underwent a medical examination immediately after registering their marriage.

      On June 7, 2026, at 12:15, Society In Nizhny Novgorod, an unusual event was held for young families. Immediately after registering their marriage, couples went from the registry office to polyclinic No. 4, where they underwent a comprehensive medical examination in the format of an evening health screening. This was reported by the chief editor of MIA "Stationary Press," Alexey Nikонов, on his Max channel.

      The newlyweds underwent tests and checked their main health indicators. In particular, their reproductive health, cholesterol levels, and blood sugar were assessed. The couples also underwent bioimpedance analysis and an examination of the ankle-brachial index.

      At the Health Center, participants were given recommendations on nutrition and physical activity.

      It is noted that the project was implemented with the support of the Main Department of the Registry Office of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
