One also needs to be able to provide first aid. This is often necessary when finding those who are lost. A part of the training is also dedicated to this. It is important to use the equipment correctly and effectively. First of all, this refers to communication and navigation. Progress does not stand still. Thus, searchers use various technical developments. "We press a button - our equipment is operational. We can double the range of our search. The first day - a radius of 3.5-4 km, when increased - 10-13 km," said federal instructor Yevgeny Chubykhin. The exercises united more than 100 searchers from different regions of Russia. Behind the back of the participant of the search and rescue team "Volunteer" with the call sign "Freebie," Alexey Tyurin from Dzerzhinsk, are dozens of rescue operations. The main thing is to find people alive. Therefore, each rescue operation is memorable. "We searched in the swamps for a couple. They were there for two nights. The man had a heart condition, and his pills were running out. We found them and brought them out," said Alexey Tyurin. The two-day exercises under the auspices of the well-known search and rescue movement "LizaAlert" are an important part of the overall work. Volunteers, both experienced and newcomers, not only communicate but also enhance their knowledge and skills. So that later they can provide assistance as effectively as possible. Moreover, anyone can join the movement of search and rescue teams. "You can help even remotely. Calling hospitals, applicants. This is also a great help," said Svetlana Klyukvina, a representative of the search and rescue team "LizaAlert" in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      As a result of the everyday work of search and rescue teams - dozens of people found and rescued. This work continues year-round, 24 hours a day. For these people, the main thing in their voluntary work is to know and hear - "Found! Alive!" And for this to happen more often - such an exchange of experience is important.
