      On June 5, 2026, at 18:03 Society Giant traffic jams formed in Nizhny Novgorod at the end of the workday on Friday, June 5. This is evidenced by data from the "Yandex Maps" service. Streets such as Alekseevskaya, Maxim Gorky, Ilyinskaya, Zvezdinka, Novaya, Oktyabrskaya, Nadezhda Suslova, Karl Marx, Sergey Akimov, Proletarskaya, Akmolinskaya, Burnakovskaya, Kuybyshev, and Meshchersky Boulevard turned maroon on online maps. Additionally, the streets of Rodionova, Vaneeva, Bolshaya Pokrovskaya, Belinsky, Nizhnevolzhskaya Embankment, and Gagarin Avenue also turned red. Traffic jams also affected Kazanskoye, Komsomolskoye, and Moskovskoye highways, as well as the metro bridge. By this hour, at least seven traffic accidents occurred on the roads of the regional center.
