"I would like to highlight the successful work with cultural heritage sites in the Yaroslavl, Nizhny Novgorod, Lipetsk, and Novgorod regions, as well as in Tatarstan. We expect that other regions will follow their example," the head of state emphasized. The President reminded that starting this year, a new indicator has appeared in the national ranking of the investment climate. It is related to reducing the investment and construction cycle for cultural heritage sites. According to Vladimir Putin, it is important to accelerate the restoration of ancient houses, estates, and other historical buildings, involving them in economic circulation and making them accessible to residents and tourists. This work, the head of state noted, plays a special role for the cities of Central Russia and popular tourist destinations, including the Golden Ring. To further restore sites and develop regions, it is necessary to more actively engage the potential of strategic business partners. Earlier, Governor Gleb Nikitin reported that investors willing to invest in the restoration of cultural heritage sites would be welcomed in the region with a "red carpet."
