On June 3, 2026, at 16:12, Incidents The Dalnekonstantinovsky District Court granted the prosecutor's demands and recognized the activities of the recreation center "Yantar" in the village of Zubanikh as illegal, the press service of the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Court reported. The district prosecutor's office conducted an inspection of compliance with environmental legislation regarding LLC "UK KP Yantar" - the eco-park "Yantar". It turned out that the recreation center was providing services in violation of the law. An unauthorized beach was set up on agricultural land. In addition, two plots designated for fish farming were used for commercial recreation. According to the prosecutor's assessment, such violations posed a threat to the life and health of people. Furthermore, serious violations of fire safety requirements and sanitary-epidemiological standards were identified in the operation of the center. The prosecutor appealed to the court with a request to recognize the activities of the center as illegal, to prohibit its operation, and to oblige the owner to cease the improper use of the land plots. The company's representative disagreed with the claim. He insisted that there was no evidence of harm to the environment or violation of public interests. The court, having studied the case materials and heard the parties, partially satisfied the demands. By the decision of May 29, 2026, the activities of LLC "UK KP Yantar" on two plots used for unauthorized purposes were recognized as illegal. The company was obliged to cease their improper use and stop the operation of the recreation center "Yantar" on these territories. The decision has not yet entered into legal force. Recall that in the summer of 2025, a tragedy occurred on the territory of this private recreation center. On the afternoon of July 26, a group of teenagers rented a catamaran. According to NIA "Nizhny Novgorod," they did not have life jackets. After a while, the kids returned to the shore and informed the adults that their friend was missing. Eyewitnesses began searching, and then police and medical personnel arrived at the scene. In the evening, the search and rescue team of the Ministry of Emergency Situations joined the operation. The body of a 14-year-old teenager was found in the pond almost a day later. A criminal case was opened for providing services that do not meet safety requirements. According to the investigation, the administrator of the center rented a catamaran to minors for money but did not provide them with life jackets, did not conduct a briefing, and did not organize supervision of the children in the water. In May, the criminal case with an approved indictment against the administrator of the recreation center "Yantar" was sent to court. NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" has channels on Telegram and MAX.
