A state of heightened readiness was introduced due to landslides on two streets in Nizhny Novgorod.

The decisions are related to the threat to the life and health of residents due to landslide processes and slope erosion. Since April 6, the regime has been in effect in the area of houses No. 45, 47, and 49 on 1st Oranzhereynaya Street. The danger zone is defined within the boundaries of these buildings, taking into account the adjacent 15-meter territory. The cause was an active landslide process. The district administration has been instructed to install warning signs, notify homeowners, and organize constant monitoring of the situation. The stability of the slope section within the existing landslide will also be calculated. For these purposes, 1.3 million rubles have been allocated from the city's reserve fund. Additionally, restrictions for heavy vehicles will be introduced on the section of the road from house No. 58 to house No. 49. Signs 3.4. "Movement of trucks is prohibited" will be installed there. By another resolution, since April 3, a heightened readiness regime has been introduced in the area of house No. 111 on Nezvorovykh Street. The reason was the erosion of the slope and the destruction of the asphalt surface with the risk of further landslide deformations. The boundaries of the danger zone are established within a radius of 50 meters from the building. More than 5.9 million rubles from the reserve fund have been allocated for emergency restoration work to repair the slope section of the urban ravine. The customer for the work will be the Municipal Institution "Engineering Protection Management of the City of Nizhny Novgorod."
