Wildberries is upgrading the collector in Novinki at its own expense.

On June 2, 2026, at 16:07 Society In the village of Novinki, Nizhny Novgorod, as part of a comprehensive territory development project, the sewage collector is being modernized. The work will be financed by the company Wildberries. This was reported by the regional ministry of construction. The agency noted that the collector provides drainage for the residential buildings of the "Oksky Bereg" residential complex and is currently in non-standard condition. The investor, together with regional authorities, has worked on issues related to its reconstruction and further operation.

"The existing damages lead to leaks that negatively affect the environmental situation, including the state of the soil and the surrounding environment. At the same time, the facility is critically important for residents," the ministry reported.

WB has received the necessary technical conditions and has committed to bringing the collector into compliance. This will ensure the stable operation of the sewage system and improve the sanitary and ecological situation. The regional government emphasized that the implementation of the project contributes to solving the accumulated communal problems of the area. In particular, the issue of modernizing communal infrastructure was raised by residents during an open discussion of the KRT project on November 8, 2025, at school No. 132.

At the same time, preparations are underway for the construction of a logistics complex. Its architectural and urban planning appearance has already been approved by the regional ministry of urban planning and agglomeration development. The chief architect of Nizhny Novgorod region, Sergey Popov, noted that special attention was paid to fire safety and reducing visual impact on residential development during the approval process. The use of non-combustible materials has become a mandatory requirement.

The construction area will be about 100,000 square meters, which is 30% less than the maximum allowable parameters. The complex will include a one-story warehouse and a three-story administrative building. The agency also reported that earlier PJSC "DOM.RF" developed a concept for a square on Kipasov Street in Novinki. The public space is intended to serve as a buffer zone between residential buildings and the logistics center. The project is currently participating in a rating vote under the "Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment" program to attract federal funding.

It is worth noting that the logistics complex is planned to be built within the boundaries of Parkovaya, Vysokaya, and Poletnaya Streets. According to the project documentation, a warehouse center with administrative and household buildings ranging from one to three stories and parking for 250 cars will be constructed here. The enterprise could create up to 7,000 jobs. During public discussions in the summer of 2025, the residents of Novinki did not support the construction. In January 2026, they addressed an open letter to the company's founder, Tatyana Kim, expressing their dissatisfaction with the appearance of the warehouse.

In the fall of 2025, Governor Gleb Nikitin commented on the construction of the warehouse. During a direct line, he stated that jobs in the territories of new residential complexes in the southern region should be a priority for local residents. He emphasized that the region cannot refuse investors who play a significant role in the economy of the area. NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" has channels on Telegram and MAX.
