The initial price of the contract is 60 million rubles. Funding is provided from the regional budget. The work is divided into two stages. The first stage - performing engineering surveys and preparing project documentation - is estimated at almost 57.8 million rubles. Another 2.3 million rubles will be allocated for the development of the planning and land surveying project. Applications for participation in the auction are accepted until June 18, and the results will be announced in five days. The deadline for completing each stage is until May 27, 2027. The section in question is approximately 1.6 km long - from km 0+000 to km 1+250 of the highway (22 OP MZ 22N-2629) Afonino - Nikulskoye. The exact boundaries and parameters will need to be clarified and agreed upon with the customer. Currently, the road belongs to categories IV-V, has one or two lanes of traffic, and a surface made of asphalt concrete and concrete. The project aims to upgrade the parameters to category III. It is planned to create two traffic lanes with a capital type of road surface and asphalt concrete covering. Some technical solutions - including lane width, earthwork parameters, the need for lighting, exits, sidewalks, storm drainage, and other elements - will be determined during the design process. Earlier, there were reports about plans to reconstruct the section of the road Afonino - Nikulskoye in the northeastern direction from the village of Nikulskoye as part of the creation of the Eastern Bypass of Nizhny Novgorod. The project documentation for this facility has already received a positive conclusion from the state expert examination. It is worth noting that the Eastern Bypass project includes three phases of construction. The first phase plans to modernize the existing road within the boundaries of Nikulskoye, bringing the parameters in line with standards for public transport, reconstructing the section along the embankment of the Rowing Canal - from the area of house No. 459 in the Podnovye settlement to the junction of Lysogorskaya Street, as well as constructing a new segment with a two-level interchange above the "Nizhny Novgorod - Kstovo" highway. The second phase plans to build a new bridge over the Volga, and the third phase involves creating a northeastern bypass of Bor.
