The deputies of the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod Region congratulated the young residents of Nizhny Novgorod on Children's Day.

In Dzerzhinsk, a festival called "Football Stars" took place at the "Salyut" sports school stadium, featuring the chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Evgeny Lyulin.

"Most teams fought for the children's city cup in May. Experienced players! I stood in goal myself and saw how they pass and attack. The more children we involve in sports, the greater our collective victory will be. This week we are opening mini-fields in two more kindergartens in Dzerzhinsk. They can be used for football, volleyball, and basketball. By the end of the year, there will be 15 such sites, which is already half of the city's kindergartens! We will not stop until we provide for everyone," he said.

Teams from 34 kindergartens participated in the event. The honorary guest was two-time world champion and 2012 Paralympic Games champion Andrey Kuvaev. The renowned athlete defended the goal. Young footballers managed to score three goals.

Anton Greben has been supporting a traditional charity event at the Kstovo water park "Atoll" for over 10 years. This year, the young guests of the holiday were students from a special boarding school, the social shelter "Scarlet Sail," the S.A. Krivorotova Center for Extracurricular Work, the Center for Working with "special" children, kids from the "Compass" club, as well as the Kstovo organization of the All-Russian Society of the Blind. The children were awaited with water attractions, lunch, and gifts from the "LUKOIL" company.

"We have been holding this event for over ten years. The happy faces of boys and girls remind us every time that this good deed must continue. I thank the water park staff for their hospitality. Together we make children's lives a little happier," said Anton Greben.

Yuri Balashov organized a bright sports and entertainment holiday for schoolchildren in the summer camps of the Soviet district. With the support of sports school No. 17 for checkers named after A.F. Lazarenko and the district library system, workshops on checkers and handicrafts were held for children. The project team "Sports in Every Yard" organized fun relays and the GTO standards testing. At the end of the holiday, the children drew bright pictures with chalk on the asphalt.

"Children are not just our continuation; they are our future. Their smiles, dreams, and achievements are the main reward for adults," emphasized Yuri Balashov.

Nikolai Upirvitsky celebrated the holiday in Arzamas. At the A.P. Gaidar Central Children's Library, with his participation, a primary branch of the "Movement of the First" was opened. The deputy also presented charitable certificates to families with children with disabilities in the Kazachya Sloboda of Vyyezdnoye. These funds will be used to purchase rehabilitation equipment, specialized nutrition, and examinations.

Deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod region Irina Makarova congratulated the students of the "Warm House" social assistance center for families and children in Sarov. A sweet summer treat—ice cream—was prepared for the kids.

Sergey Boryakin congratulated children at several venues. In the Semenovsky municipal district, a drawing competition on asphalt was organized for the kids, while the sports team "Azimuth" from school No. 1 in the village of Krasnye Baki celebrated the holiday with active games. All participants received sweet gifts from the deputy.

Also, on June 1, a colorful and large-scale event dedicated to Children's Day took place in the Soviet Square in the village of Varnavino—a drawing competition on asphalt called "Colorful Planet." Creative workshops and a theatrical competition and game program "Childhood is You and Me!" were organized for the young Varnavinites, with the participation of preschool and educational institutions in the district and fairy-tale growth dolls. Sergey Boryakin delighted every child present at the holiday with sweets.

"Childhood is a wonderful time when the sun seems big, and the stars shine brighter. Childhood impressions often remain in memory for a lifetime. On this day, every child deserves special attention; we want to bring joy and constantly see the happy eyes of children," emphasized the parliamentarian.

Vladimir Soldatenkov, together with Deputy of the Nizhny Novgorod City Duma Vladimir Tarasov and members of the political council of the Avtozavodsky district, participated in a celebration that has traditionally taken place at the "Lyabruska" cafe for over 20 years. This year, they congratulated 40 large and low-income families.

Alexey Stepanov gifted coloring books to the young residents of the village of Ilyino-Zaborskoe—the students of the kindergarten "Skazka," delighting the little ones with useful and interesting gifts.

In the Leninsky district of Nizhny Novgorod, activists from local branches of the "United Russia" party and the Young Guard held a festive and educational event at the "Innovation Center: into the 21st century with 21 chromosomes," where children with Down syndrome are engaged.

The program included three parts: acquaintance, educational, and gaming blocks. The kids were told about the zoo, animals, and interesting facts from the world of nature. This topic resonated greatly—children actively engaged in the conversation and shared their favorite animals and impressions.

"I am convinced that such meetings are of great importance. These children are just as much youth as we are, with their interests, dreams, and opportunities. Our common task is to be there, support, communicate, and create conditions in which everyone feels part of society. I believe that it is through such events that true unity and mutual respect are formed. We must not divide but work together and help each other," noted Dmitry Moiseev, head of the Young Guard of the Leninsky district.

Let us remind you that the protection of childhood and support for families is a priority of the People's Program of the "United Russia" party. New places in kindergartens are being created in the Nizhny Novgorod region, children's playgrounds and sports facilities are being improved, summer health programs are being launched, orphans and children with disabilities are being supported, and regional measures to support families with children are being implemented.
